Every player has THAT game where they broke through.
Well, I say broke through but I mean the day they came of age, the day we all noticed how special they were.
I remember Trent Alexander-Arnold’s. It was away at Hoffenheim in a Champions League qualifier seven years ago.
Well, Alexander-Arnold is not playing today, and his replacement needs one of those games if Liverpool are going to win today.
Jarell Quansah has barely had a sniff of first-team football this season, but with Joe Gomez and Conor Bradley also out injured, he is playing at right-back.
It’s fair to say, Quansah is not exactly known for being a full-back, so he is going to be tested a lot today. I imagine Alexander Isak will want to drift over in his direction a lot.
It’s now Quansah’s chance to show what he is made of in a position he does not like playing in. A tough ask.
Can he have a special day?
